“穩”、“我和我的祖國”當選2019年度國內字詞

國家語言資源監測研究中心（the Chinese National Language Monitoring and Research Center?）、商務印書館（the Commercial Press）等聯合主辦的“漢語盤點2019”揭曉儀式12月20日舉行。

The Chinese character “wen,” meaning stability, has been chosen by Chinese netizens as the character of the year for 2019, and “me and my motherland” as the phrase of the year.“穩”、“我和我的祖國”分別當選年度國內字、國內詞。

The character “nan,” or difficulty and the phrase “trade friction” were chosen as representatives of international affairs.

“難”、“貿易摩擦”分別當選年度國際字、國際詞。

“漢語盤點”活動至今已舉辦十四年，旨在“用一個字、一個詞描述當年的中國與世界”，鼓勵全民用語言記錄生活，描述中國視野下的社會變遷和世界萬象。

The winners were chosen through an online poll featuring thousands of candidates recommended by internet users.

上榜字詞是網友們從數千字詞中投票選出來的。

Many of the submissions related to domestic and international issues, but the dominant influencing factor was the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China in October.
很多提名的字詞都與國內、國際事件相關，不過其中一個主要的影響因素是10月份中華人民共和國成立70周年。

儀式現場還發布了2019年度十大網絡用語、十大流行語、十大新詞語。

In addition to the 2019 Chinese characters and phrases chosen by netizens, the center also unveiled the top 10 media buzzwords and 10 internet slangs.
